A Sample of My Products and a little of the process

I specialise in working with wild wood, turning driftwood, windfall wood and other found materials into a diverse range of one-off items. This was at the heart of my wood-crafting hobby for many years and remains my specialism today. One of the joys of working with found wild wood is the effort that often goes into the finding! I am very lucky that my wife Liz shares this passion, and we can often be found foraging the rocky shores & beaches and the wild woods of south west Scotland and northern England in search of interesting an unusual piece. I also work with greenwood, making rustic furniture and other greenwood items, often harvesting raw materials from the surrounding woodlands. And I also make use of seasoned timber acquired from local sources as well as reusing and up cycling waste wood. In my woodland workshop you will find a wide range of fine, hand crafted items. Ranging from key rings, sculptural pieces, electric lamps, candle and oil lamps, a range of bread boards and serving platters, bowls, clocks, as well as stunning statement piece coffee tables, rustic furniture and much more besides. There is something to suit every pocket, and some great & unique gift ideas. No plastic, no imports, just real and mostly local wood! So, if you fancy treating yourself, or a gift for someone special, pop in and have a mosey at what's on offer!
